Apt 408 · Luxury Condo w/Pool access in Ybor City Tampa

Fantastic place to stay and if I ever visit Ybor or Tampa again, it would be at the top of booking list. Positive: Had a 3 night stay as was visiting Ybor from the UK for a gig. The property is out of the centre of town but an easy and, for me and my daughter anyway, safe 10 minute walk to 7th (the main commercial and cultural street). Once you’re in Ybor, there’s quite a bit to explore and you can also take the free trolley bus to Downtown Tampa (the River Walk was superb) The apartment is spacious, well appointed and has everything you’d need for any length of stay. Having 2 bedrooms was the main reason I booked. We didn’t use the pool, which is in the sister building across the road. Mariana, the host, kept us updated before and throughout our stay which was greatly appreciated. Although in a bit of an industrial area, we didn’t really get any noise intrusion apart from a couple of trains. It wouldn’t matter where you were staying in Ybor, you would have heard the trains! The highlight of where the apartment is located is the fantastic Coppertail Brewing Co brewery and tasting room just across the street.

Positive: Beautiful accommodations.and nice location. Negative: A funky odor every time we entered. We checked baskets to see if anything had been left behind but found nothing. We put a lemon down the kitchen drain and ran the garbage disposal, but it didn't alleviate the smell. We didn't check anything else, but the odor was still there when we left.

Positive: The condo was very nice and spacious. Close the Ybor strip and lots of shopping centers. Amazing staff. The access to everything in the building is incredible. Negative: there was a rotted smell in the condo. I’m not sure why it smells, like sewage and rotted eggs. We had to open the terrace door to air it out to rid the smell. My suggestion is get some better plug in from bath and body works. Use their plug ins a strong scent. & please call your property manager about the smell and get it that fixed immediately. Possibly add some extra towels and wash cloths to use.
